Poor Craig.  Nap time is over.

Special Behind-The-Scenes note:  “THOOM” made its first appearance as a comics sound effect in the lighthearted 1967 Romance comic “Unhealthy Teenage Love.”  In issue #19, Carlita, beauty queen and street gang general, is trying to catch the attention of Brad, the dashing debate team captain/tennis star.  Carlita gets a nosebleed after a rumble, and Brad offers her his handkerchief.  The sound effect “THOOM” is used to portray the sound that young Carlita’s heart makes when it drops into her stomach, on her discovery that Brad did not wash his handkerchief.

Just a little bit of comics history.  It’s important to familiarize yourself with the Classics.

Thanks for reading our comic!  We hope you have as much fun reading it as we did making it.
